How A New Golf Club Cleaning Product Made An Old Man Rich

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 21, 2010

An old man sits outside his small house wiping down a pitching wedge he used to chip in a 30 foot shot yesterday evening. The golf club cleaner he is using was not bought in a store or ordered through a catalog. It is unique because it is the only golf cleaning system the old man has ever used that not only both cleaned and protected his clubs at the same time, but also got in the many ‘nooks & crannies’ of his golf clubs.

With over fifty years of golfing experience, Rusty can tell you one or two golfing stories that will have you hanging on the edge of your seat. After the successful launch of his current company in 2007, Rusty’s Rags, which specializes in high end gun cleaning products, his newest invention, the patent pending Rusty’s Rag Golf Club Cleaner & Protectant, has everyone in the small town of Douglasville, just outside of Atlanta, talking. With one last quick wipe of the sheepskin cloth Rusty puts down his golf club and begins talking.

"I always dreaded coming in from the course and having to clean my clubs after every round of golf," says Rusty. "The mere thought of it made me not want to go golfing in the first place. Finally I found a solution to my problem." After many years of using the old fashioned ‘soap & bucket’ technique, Rusty began developing and testing a new golf club cleaning product that took the stress and headache out of cleaning his clubs. "I always knew there had to be a better and easier way to both clean and protect my golf clubs at the same time and I finally found it," says Rusty.

The Rusty’s Rag Golf Club Cleaner & Protectant is basically two cleaning cloths in one. The hand cut sheepskin cloth is impregnated with a special silicone formulated by Rusty for use on golf clubs. "It took me forever to find a way to keep the silicone on the sheepskin that I almost gave up," laughs Rusty. "I finally found a way to make my silicone formula stick to the sheepskin." Every Rusty’s Rag Golf Club Cleaner & Protectant also contains a free flannel cloth used to polish the clubs to a fine finish. Instructions are also included.

"If you want to lower your score and play better golf, you must have clean golf clubs," says Rusty. "Even the smallest amount of dirt or grass on your clubs can change the direction of your ball flight. My product cleans and protects your clubs from dirt, grass, and harsh fertilizers on the golf course. It also protects your clubs from rust and keeps them looking factory new. Once my product is applied, it is easier to remove debris from your clubs."

Many of Rusty’s friends and fellow golf buddies encouraged Rusty to share his invention with the rest of the community for their golf club cleaning and protecting needs and thus the Rusty’s Rags Golf Club Cleaner & Protectant was born. Now Rusty has his own website www.RustysRags.com that tells about his new golf club cleaning cloth and people can buy the product straight from his site. Rusty use to cut each sheepskin cloth by hand but now has had to enlist outside help to keep up with production. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think these cloths would sell so well," Rusty laughs.

The Rusty’s Rags Golf Club Cleaner & Protetant is sold through the companies website:

www.RustysRags.com/golf_cloths.html and www.shop.rustysrags.com and fine pro shops throughout the United States. Rusty is always looking for new vendors to carry his product. Anyone interested can contact Latham Doxey in our media department.

Golf Is A Game Of Inches- -The Six Inches Between Your Ears

Fort Lee, NJ (PRWEB) October 19, 2005

John Daly recently failed to sink a simple but crucial putt in his sudden death playoff with Tiger Woods.

Do you get nervous on the first tee? Do you choke on big money putts? Are you tired of losing to golfers you should beat?

Jay P. Granat, Ph.D. was recently interviewed by Dennis Silvers an ESPN golf radio host based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Granat, Founder of StayInTheZone.com and SingleDigitHandicap.com and author of How To Get In The Zone And Stay In The Zone With Sport Psychology and How To Lower Your Golf Score With Sport Psychology and Self-Hypnosis, explained how he helps golfers improve their performance.

Granat, who has worked with pros as well as recreational golfers and who has been named one of the top mental golf gurus, by Golf Digest, utilizes a range of techniques to help athletes get into the zone and stay there.

According to Dr. Granat, a psychotherapist who has written and lectured extensively on self-help and sport psychology, “Most golfers do not spend nearly enough time mastering their own emotions, thoughts and the mental parts of their game. The lower your handicap, the more mental the game becomes. Golfers need to understand what gets them in and out of the zone. Once they know this, they will shoot lower scores more often.

Choking on short putts, hooking or slicing the ball, losing to weaker players, being intimidated by better players, getting frustrated and angry, being nervous on the first tee and the yips are just some of the issues that Dr. Granat and his programs help golfers and other athletes deal with.

Over the last few years, Dr. Granat has worked with a number of golfers who freeze over the ball.
