Add America's second-richest man to the list of people who believe it's time for Augusta National to open its doors to women.
Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., told Bloomberg News that if he were running the club, the membership roster will be filled with women.
“I’m not telling the group at Augusta what to do, but if I were running the club I’d have plenty of women,” Buffett said.
Later in the story, he added:
“I might prefer having female members, but I’m not on the committee” that nominates people to the group, he said.
